Emirates Investment Bank appoints Imad Bou Khouzam as Chief Financial Officer

EIBank or the Emirates Investment Bank has appointed Imad Bou Khouzam as CFO and his responsibilities will include leading the finance, operations and IT departments.

Imad brings to Emirates Investment Bank over 24 years of experience in banking and finance in Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Imad’s experience includes 15 years with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in senior leadership roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer covering Lebanon, Qatar and the UAE.  Prior to this, Imad also worked for Scotiabank, Metropolitan Bank S.A.L and KPMG in Lebanon.

Commenting on Imad’s appointment, Khaled Sifri, CEO of Emirates Investment Bank, said, “Imad is an invaluable addition to our team of seasoned finance and banking experts. The wealth of experience he brings with him, having built and managed the finance, compliance and risk functions of reputable regional and international institutions across the Middle East, will add further depth to our offering and the way in which we serve our clients.”

On his appointment, Imad said, “Emirates Investment Bank enjoys a niche position in the private banking industry. Imad holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and he is an INSEAD Certified Senior Management Professional.
