LIMASSOL stated that they are proud to launch “Freeze Rate” only one in the industry allows you to freeze the desired rate before you buy or sell decision.
We are proud to launch “Freeze Rate” another industry first which allows you to freeze a desired rate before making a buy or sell decision, for free.
“The driving force behind our inventions is finding solutions to our traders’ needs. This time we thought “what if you could freeze time before making a decision to place or close a trade? At first it sounded impossible but we made it happen.” CEO Nikos Antoniades.
What exactly is Freeze Rate?
When you see a rate you would like to open (buy or sell) or close a position at, you can freeze it for a few seconds and compare it with the ongoing live rates. Within that extra time in which your desired rate is frozen, you can do one of the following:
Give me an example of freeze rate
You want to sell the GBP/USD and it is at the selling price of 1.2550, you can freeze that rate and watch the live market rate change. Within the few seconds (let’s call them the “freeze period”) you see a higher rate of 1.2551, which is a better rate for you to sell at. In this case, you can choose to wait for the freeze period to expire and capture the better rate of 1.2551 and sell. Or you can freeze the better rate of 1.2551 and repeat the same process again, and as many times as you want until you are happy with the price you get.
Let’s use the same example of wanting to sell the GBP/USD and the rate is 1.2550. You use freeze rate and hold the rate of 1.2550. Within the freeze period you see the live rate move down to 1.2549 which is a worse price to sell at than your frozen rate. In this case you choose to sell at the frozen rate of 1.2550 before the freeze period expires, even though the live market rate has already changed to 1.2549. This gives you an advantage over the market because your trade would have covered a big part of the spread.
This tool can be used as many times as you wish without any restrictions or extra fees. Using Freeze Rate does not only help you with trading, but it can significantly reduce your trading costs.
